Pie in the Sky

On the first day after my wedding, we took a day trip to The Dandenongs and the Yarra Valley with my relatives and family friends from overseas. After feeding the rosellas, we headed off to Orlinda for our own lunch at Pie in the sky. Gosh they have the best pies... notably award winning! The Pie Floater (which is a steak and mushroon pie placed in a bath of pea and ham soup with a dollup of mash potato) was fantastic.... and reputed to be the best pie floater east side of Adelaide. It's a favourite with locals... and you can get lovely buttery scones here with rasberry jams and fresh creme as well with your tea. We ate too much and napped well on the tour bus
