Cafe Sydney

Don't be deceived by the name. It is absolutely one of the best places that you can go to for wonderful unpretentious seafood dining in Sydney.

Set on top of the old Sydney Harbour Customs House. You can't beat the view.

It's beautifully modern and airy in the restaurant.

Sshhhh... I also heard that it is a favourite hiding place for secret rendezvous...

I am planning to go to Sydney for 4 days in late October. I want to visit some memorable (not necessarily fine dning) places. Is tetsuya's bar any good?

Those oysters looks divine! Just sampled my first in the southern hemisphere in Auckland (I'm from the US). Looking forward to learning more on the region from your blog and others. Cheers.

Tsu-yen, I'm sorry to return your message so late, but Tetsuya is very good but you must book about 1-3 months in advance... Menu for dinner or lunch is about the same. But expect to take about 3-4 hours for the meal... So if you're having lunch, you may not need dinner!

Hi,

I'd like to give a $10 discount voucher to your site which your visitors could use in their take-away orders placed on Menulog (700 listed take away restaurants). All they have to do is just type the voucher code (which will be provided upon response to this email) at the check out. This is on top of any existing discounts our restaurants offer to your visitors as part of our normal process.

Please let me know what you think.

Cheers,

Cristal

WOW would be a weak way of saying that this is an awesome place! And i have to say that somehow when you look the name of the place, you wouldnt think that they would be serving a "meal". I would be making my way towards the "cafe sydney" sooner than you can say "Supercalifragelistic Expialidousious"!
